Installation Guidelines

• For best results, make sure to always work from 2 to 3 cartons at a time, mixing the planks during the installation
• Acclimate product for 48 hours.
• Room temperature and humidity of installation area should be consistent with normal, year-round living conditions for at least one week before installation of flooring.
• Wood Subfloor – Inspect your subfloor before you begin, level to 1/8″ within 4′
• Wood Subfloor – If not level, sand down high spots and fill low spots with Portland Based leveling patch.
• Concrete Subfloor – Floors must be fully cured, at least 60 days old
• Concrete substrates must be flat within 3/16″ within a 10′ radius.
• Radiant Heat maximum operating temperature should never exceed 27 C
• Radiant Heat should be turned off 24 hours before, during and 24 hours after installation.
• Don’t install over; hardwood flooring, carpet, cushion-backed vinyl flooring or any type of floating flooring.
• Ensure to leave 5/16″ gap between walls and fixtures such as pipes and pillars, stairs, etc.
• The end joints of the planks should be staggered a minimum of 8″ apart.
• Avoid installing pieces shorter than 12″ at beginning or end of rows.
• Do Not install your kitchen cabinets directly over your floor.
