Ceramics
We currently stock over 75 different styles of floor & wall tile to choose from to suit many styles.
The current trend is large format tile such as 12 x 24 & larger, however, there has been a demand for printed tiles for rooms that people are looking for as a focal point.
Laminate
Our main line of laminate is from Torlys which features a “Uniclic” locking system as well as 8 lines that are considered waterproof. This system is without a doubt the best glueless locking system on the market. There are other brands that we carry that use “drop lock” systems which can be user-friendly but don’t impede water from getting to the wood core. Although these lines usually come with a smaller price tag.
Carpets & Vinyl
We carry a large selection of vinyl and carpet rolled goods. Some brands that we carry include Mannington, Beaulieu & Shaw.
LVT & LVP
Another strong market people are just starting to familiarize themselves with. There is a lot people need to realize when shopping for these products, they come in a variety of glue down & click. While these products are considered waterproof they aren’t as scratch & dent resistant as laminate flooring.
Also, it comes in three different constructions;
Solid vinyl, WPC & SPC
Depending on your situation may determine what product will give you a greater chance for success.
Solid & Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Markan Hardwood Plus carries PEI’s largest selection of hardwood flooring. Our main line is solid engineered Mercier hardwood, a quality line of North American and exotic woods. We also stock a good selection of unfinished hardwoods. We also offer Mannington, Kraus and Torlys in our engineered wood products as well as a full line of Mercier engineered hardwood.
All products are stored in our temperature-controlled warehouse to ensure that your flooring is delivered in the best possible condition.
Blinds
We carry a large assortment of styles & colours to fit any home style and budget, from simplistic rollers to energy-saving cellular to a more tradition faux wood.
We carry lines from Shade-O-Matic, Altex & Maxxmar.
We also provide on-site measures and installation of all our blinds.

We have over 100 in stock rugs ranging in most popular sizes of 3 X 5, 5 X 8, 7 X 10, 8 X 11. You can see with your eyes the actual colour and feel the quality so you’re not guessing what’s going to arrive at your door when ordering online.

Stairs
Markan Hardwood Plus is PEI’s largest supplier of stair components, specializing in hardwoods such as oak, birch, ash and maple. We offer a variety of styles and profiles, including traditional square top and dowel top balusters as well as square balusters and box newels.
